Vejer de la Frontera is a small town situated on a hilltop in the Costa de la Luz area of Andalucia. Our holiday house to rent is centrally located so you can walk to anywhere in town in around 10 minutes (just be prepared for some steep hills!). You can enjoy an evening in the old town which is just a short stroll away. Fresh baked bread, groceries and a couple of medium sized supermarkets are a few steps in the opposite direction.
Vejer also has numerous fiestas, arts and cultural events to look out for. For children there is a public swimming pool and the Molinas de Viento (Windmills) playground just a short walk away.
The long sandy beaches along the Costa de la Luz are some the best in Europe and, weekends aside, virtually deserted. Just stroll out from Los Caños de Meca to Cabo de Trafalgar to see what we mean!
All along the coast are pretty towns with bars and fish restaurants and spectacular cliff-top walks.
Surfing lessons are available along the coast as well as kite-surfing and para-gliding.

Beautiful walks/cycle trails though rolling countryside, umbrella pines and the Alcornocales Parque Naturel.
The ancient hill town of Medina Sidona, Cadiz (35 minutes), Jerez (50 minutes) and Seville offer superb cultural interest, Moorish and historic sites, great food and of course, the not to be missed sherry/bodega tours!
Tarifa (45 minutes) is a world-renowned centre for kite- and wind-surfing.
North of Cadiz, is the Parque Naturel de Donana, one of Europe's best-known bird watching areas.
